About Us
My Passion for Rottweilers
I purchased my first Rottweiler, Hilde, in 1990. She was my best friend, protector, best girl ever for nearly 13 years. Because of her, I have dedicated myself to owning, trialing, breeding and learning about this magnificent breed since 2003 when I purchased my amazing foundation boy and heart dog, Nakai. We've experienced the thrill of earning AKC competition obedience, carting, rally titles and the fun of sheep herding. Nakai earned his AKC Championship title, but most important of all, he was my best boy. My first litter was born in 2009. Only wanting to do the very best for my puppies, each generation has been fully health clearance tested - hip and elbow xrays, echocardiograms by a certified cardiologist, eye exams, and DNA tested clear for all the neurological issues found in the breed. Switching them to a 100% raw diet in 2004 has produced excellent health and resultant longevity. I love each and every one of my puppies and raising them has been a labor of love!!

Benefits are clean teeth, strong muscles, strong immune systems, to name a few. ALL of my dogs and puppies are fed raw. Many of my dogs and puppies have lived healthy lives to ages 12 and beyond 13. Good genetics and proper nutrition is the key!
I believe in this so much that continuing this diet is a requirement. All the assistance needed is happily provided!

The puppies are part of the household as soon as they are born. Kept warm and cozy with mom, they are in a quiet bedroom until about 3 weeks of age, when they invade the dining room! The puppies are part of the household as soon as they are born. Kept warm and cozy with mom, they are in a quiet bedroom until about 3 weeks of age, when they invade the dining room! There they have a potty box and natural light with plenty of toys. They quickly migrate to my kitchen and become familiar with all the sights and sounds of a house hold and my other dogs. New moms and dads and kids are invited over when the pups are 6 weeks old for a visit. The puppies are started on their distemper/parvo vaccines before they leave at 8 weeks, right before their vet examination. I do a nomograph and titer test on their mother, and am provided an accurate vaccine schedule for her litter. Puppies are titer tested around 2 weeks after their last vaccine (in their new homes) to insure they have created immunity to parvo and distemper, 2 viruses that can kill a puppy. The puppies are regularly wormed starting at about 2 weeks age, and done every 2 weeks.
